As the Member of Parliament for Eddisbury, my main job is to represent the constituents of the area. My aim is to serve all my constituents, irrespective of your political views.

I hope you will find this website helpful in seeing what I do, and where I have been in the constituency, as well as my speeches in Westminster. Many of you may wish to get in contact with me on local or personal matters, and I hope this website will assist you in doing so. My website shows you how you can contact me by letter, e-mail, fax or telephone and also how to make an appointment to see me at my regular constituency surgeries.

Since my election as the Member of Parliament for Eddisbury in the by-election in July 1999 I have participated in debates and questions in the Commons, and raised many local issues. Living in the constituency, I am able to get around the towns, villages and rural areas that make up our constituency all the time. I am always on hand, except when I have to be in Westminster on your behalf, to attend local events and functions, meet as many of my constituents as is possible as well as holding my regular surgeries. You can be assured that I shall continue to work relentlessly for the people and interests of Eddisbury.

I hope you find the information on these pages useful.
